(jumping back into the affinities!)

This year has been going so fast, and I’m behind on my original plans whoops.

Originally, I planned to start writing Glitter&Gore book 2 in February, but The Boy Band Curse ended up being almost 40k words longer than I wanted it to be (to no one’s surprise).

Despite the setback, I think it worked out for the best because literally THE DAY AFTER I finished writing TBBC, my brain was flooded with tons of ideas for G&G2, including how the first chapter will go, which was an enigma to me for literally a year.

So, I am really excited to get back into G&G now, BUUUT, first I’m going to spend 2 solid months on Affinities book 5.

Book 5 was originally the second half of Fracture (book 4), so 90k words are already written, and I assume I have about 50k left to write. I should be able to write that within 2 months, and if things go according to plan, I will publish Affinities book 5 in July! I’ll give a more definitive date and details in June.

I don’t know if anyone is interested in reading Book 5 on here as I write it? If so, either comment or message me.

Once that’s done, I’m going to dive fully into G&G2, but I don’t think I’ll be able to finish the whole book within 2 months to stick to my original publication date of Halloween. As of now, my new goal for publishing G&G2 is February 2026 (hopefully Valentine’s Day hehe). I’m praying I don’t have to push it back at all, but I know this book will be long, and I hate to rush it, so time will tell.

I have been in a much better creative flow lately, and I’m genuinely stoked to work on the Affinities again for the first time in 2 years :) can’t wait to share more of these characters’ shenanigans with you guys.
