february 2025 updates
WIP progress + youtube!
I can’t believe it’s the end of the month already.
I was supposed to have a completed draft of The Boy Band Curse by now, but as usual, I’m behind schedule.
8 of 16 chapters are completed, and I’ve roughly written the last half, so I’m hoping I can have a complete (readable) draft before mid-February. Having two full weeks for my final two rounds of edits would be ideal, haha.
If you read my goal planning post, I said I wanted to write some of A Crystalline Frequency each month, but that didn’t happen in January. I’m hoping at the end of February, when TBBC is finalized, I can get back into ACF for a week or so!
As for Glitter & Gore book 2, I doubt I’ll get started on it in February; most likely, I’ll plan to start in March. Maybe I’ll begin my reread of G&G1 this month, depending on how crammed I am for time with TBBC.
If all goes according to plan, I will have a cover reveal for TBBC and the book will be up for pre-order by the end of this month!!
In other news, I’m working on building up my youtube channel! I haven’t made any long form posts there yet, but I have a few shorts, so if you want to check them out, give them a like, subscribe to my channel, you can do so here :)
Seems like a bad time to start a new creative project since I’m already busy and behind, but I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, and I’ll never not be busy with other things, so I’m just going for it. To start with, I will mostly be doing casual writing vlogs, “day in the life” type videos, so it really shouldn’t take too much time out of my life (hopefully, haha).

In March, I will have 5 chapters to post (thus finishing the story), and then the full story will be removed from Substack when the book is published on April 1st (after April 1st, only the first 2 chapters will remain on here).
